Getting your freight to the ground level without a loading dock or a forklift is necessary for freight delivery. A liftgate attached to the back of the freight truck or van is the only way. In most circumstances delivery to ground level in a hard-to-access area or residential area may include apartments, houses, garages, or churches. Or other ground-level facilities considered residential or in a residential area or inviroment. Freight is almost always downloaded from a large freight truck onto a smaller delivery truck or van to maintain easy access when there is no dock or large truck easy access turnaround area. Liftgates to ground level are needed.
