This reader is the first in its class designed to double the life of your paper cutter.
Knowing when your cutter is working extremely hard cutting paper because of a dull knife can double the life of your cutter. When the amperage is at a peak on the cut it is time to change the blade. When your cutter is cutting paper the average amp draw is 9 amps, as the blade becomes dull the motor works harder to get the blade through the paper. This puts a great deal of extra force on the motor shortening its life. Knowing when to change the blade doubles the life of the cut motor. When the amperage draw hits 14 amps it is time to change the blade.
